Stair Chair Lift

Stair Chair Lift allows for barrier free, up and down transportation, for a person in sitting position over a flight of straight stairs. The chair is mounted on a rail system, with the rail assembly mounted alongside the stairs to guide the inclined movement of the chair. These lifts are manufactured as per CSA-B355. This lift is well suited to environments where an elevator or vertical lift cannot be easily accommodated, due to limited space and hence this accessibility lift travels on the top of the flight of stairs. In comparison to an Inclined Platform Lift (IPL), installation of a Stair Chair Lift is much faster & easier as the reaction load on stairs or the sidewall are much less when compared to an IPL.
